Moins de forêts, moins de pluie, une croissance démographique toujours forte, tout cela a mis le Sénégal en danger, à force de puiser dans ses ressources naturelles. De nombreux projets ont été mis en place pour reverdir le pays.

L’association Nebeday s’est fixée un objectif : planter 1,5 million d’arbres en 2022, un défi, de plus en plus ambitieux, revu à la hausse chaque année. Mais au-delà de ce chiffre et de ce record à battre année après année, la question clé est : pourquoi et comment reboiser ?
Selon les autorités sénégalaises, le pays perd chaque année 40 000 hectares de forêt, un quart de la mangrove aurait disparu en quelques décennies. Le reboisement est donc essentiel. L’association Nebeday s’y attelle en plantant dans les cours des maisons, au bord des routes, dans les mangroves, dans les forêts, dans les écoles… Palétuviers, Acacias, Leucaenas, Flamboyants, Citronniers, Moringa… chaque essence trouve sa place et son utilité. Et surtout, les enfants sont activement impliqués dans ces opérations de reboisement. On ne peut aimer que ce que l’on connaît, pourrait être la devise de ces actions réalisées tout au long de l’année.

Wegen solcher Vorfälle sind viele Menschen überzeugt, dass ihre Handys mithören, damit Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp und andere Apps passgenaue Werbung schalten können. Ist das überhaupt möglich? Und lässt sich das nachweisen?

PULS Reportage Reporterin Nadine Hadad und Programmierer Sebastian Bayerl vom “BR AI + Automation Lab” versuchen es. In einem aufwändigen Experiment wollen sie herausfinden, ob und inwiefern Apps auf iPhones und Android-Handys heimlich mithören können. Im Verlauf des Experiments programmiert Sebastian zwei Apps: Mit einer versucht er unbemerkt das Mikrofon in Nadines Handys einzuschalten. Mit der anderen App will er über die Bewegungssensoren des Smartphones Sprache aufzeichnen – ganz ohne Mikro! Ob das gelingt, und was Privacy-Forscher Jacob Kröger, Meta, Apple und Google zum Handy-Abhören sagen, seht ihr in dieser PULS Reportage.

Ils ont tout abandonné, Appart', Boulot, Crédit & Routine pour vivre "libre" d'air pur et de cueillette ! Ce mode de vie n'est possible qu'avec leurs vieux camions de plus de 30 ans !

00:00 Depuis quelques années, Nono et Jimika sillonnent les routes en bande dans leurs vieux camions. Malgré ce mode de vie qui n’est pas conventionnel, ils ont tout abandonné, que ce soit leurs biens ou leur routine pour vivre libres sur les routes.

09:30 À Paris, on rencontre Pierre-Anaël, qui a tourné le dos à son ancienne vie depuis six ans pour partir à l’aventure. Mais désormais sans économies, il se retrouve à devoir mendier toute la journée pour survivre.

17:40 Joël vit dans une roulotte conduite par des chevaux avec son assistant Tim, ce mode de vie excentrique ne lui assure aucun confort pourtant, il ne changerait sa vie pour rien au monde. Ayant tout abandonné, ses chevaux et sa roulotte sont ses biens les plus précieux.

29:15 Depuis un mois, Nono et sa bande de routards travaillent dans une plantation d’échalotes pour avoir quelques économies. Leur but est de partir au Maroc, pourtant tout l’argent obtenu part souvent dans les réparations ou chez le vétérinaire.

36:20 Pierre-Anaël est enfin arrivé à Dijon où il est logé par un de ses amis. En recherche active de travail, l’absence de ses papiers d’identité complique toutes ses démarches et lui ferme beaucoup trop de portes.

44:53 Pour Joël, ce changement de vie lui a permis de sortir de l'alcoolisme qui a ravagé sa vie et sa relation avec ses filles. Depuis, il tente de renouer petit à petit avec ses proches tout en continuant de voyager avec ses chevaux.

50:05 Pour survivre dans un vieux camion, il faut s’y connaître en mécanique. Mais malgré des connaissances, ça arrive que Nono ou sa bande ne parviennent pas à régler le souci.

01:04:04 Durant deux ans, Pierre-Anaël a vécu avec sa meilleure amie, une mère célibataire. Au cours de cette période, il s'est occupé des deux petites filles comme un père. Depuis, il essaye de passer outre la distance, mais cela reste très difficile pour lui qui considère ces enfants comme les siens.

01:16:45 Après quatre mois de route, Tim retourne chez lui, laissant Joël seul. Les adieux sont difficiles. Après son départ, la solitude commence à ronger Joël, sa précarité devient pesante pour lui, il voudrait ne plus dépendre de la générosité des autres, mais dans sa situation, c’est presque impossible.

01:20:45 Désormais avec Aurélie, Nono retourne chez ses parents pour une semaine de vacances. Malgré leur incompréhension, ses parents acceptent les choix de vie de Nono, mais pour combien d’années ?

01:25:02 Sept mois après, Pierre-Anaël se retrouve de nouveau au point de départ : sans-emploi et à la rue. Il commence à désespérer de retrouver une situation stable. Il part finalement en Belgique où il sera logé et où une promesse de travail l'attend.

01:27:08 Un an plus tard, Nono et Jimika sont de retour à la plantation d’échalote, les deux s’étaient promis d’être au Maroc à cette période, et malgré tout ils ont été obligés de revenir au même endroit pour travailler. Pour eux, c’est la rançon de la liberté. Mais pour Nono, célibataire et déprimé, son parcours ne fait pas sa fierté, il aimerait retrouver un peu de stabilité pour arrêter d’angoisser sur son avenir.

01:30:40 Aujourd'hui en couple, Joël a enfin renoué avec ses filles. Malgré les soucis, pour lui, l’avenir s’annonce radieux.

Derrière le conflit se cache aussi en toile de fond une autre guerre, moins médiatique et moins sanglante, c’est celle qui oppose les églises orthodoxes russe et ukrainienne.
 
Il y a trois ans, cette dernière a décidé de ne plus se placer sous l’autorité des instances religieuses de Moscou. A travers le parcours, sur les routes d’Ukraine, d’un évêque soutenant ses fidèles et prenant ouvertement fait et cause pour l’armée nationale, Gwenlaouen Le Gouil et Christophe Barreyre proposent un carnet de voyage au cœur d’un pays, soutenu par l’ensemble du clergé, qui laisse ouvertement savoir son hostilité et sa dissidence à ses anciens « frères » russes.

Hebamme – Wie anstrengend ist der Job der Hebamme und wie sieht der Alltag als Hebamme aus? Um das herauszufinden, begleitet Ariane Alter Hebamme Andrea in den Kreißsaal, während Sebastian Meinberg sich die Vor-und Nachsorge der kleinen Babys und ihrer Familien von Hebamme Bettina zeigen lässt.

Babys zur Welt bringen, Familien vorbereiten und danach gut betreuen? Was macht eine Hebamme alles? Und wie herausfordernd ist der Job?

Der Beruf der Hebamme ist ein gesellschaftlich wichtiger Job, jedoch schlecht bezahlt, hart und anstrengend. Immer Weniger sind bereit, die hohe Verantwortung unter den stressigen und schlecht bezahlten Arbeitsbedingungen noch zu tragen. Deswegen wollen immer weniger Leute Hebamme werden.

Ohne Hebamme geht auf der Geburtenstation aber gar nichts. Die meisten Frauen kriegen ihre Kinder im Krankenhaus.

Mit Komplikationen muss eine Hebamme in ihrer Arbeit immer rechnen, schnell kann es um Leben und Tod von Mutter und Kind gehen. Diese Verantwortung auch im Schichtdienst zu tragen, sind immer weniger Hebammen bereit. Auch in der Selbstständigkeit herrschen für Hebammen schwierige Rahmenbedingungen: Die Versicherung steigt für viele Hebammen in absurde Höhen, gleichzeitig ist der Bedarf an Hebammen aber so groß, dass der Arbeitsalltag oft stressig ist. Ruhe und Zeit für Familien mit dem Termindruck zu vereinbaren fällt schwer, vor allem, weil viele Hebammen ihren Job sehr leidenschaftlich machen und wissen, wie sehr Familien auf sie angewiesen sind.

Diese schwierige berufliche Situation führt dazu, dass ein Mangel an Hebammen herrscht, den jede Familie zu spüren bekommt, die ein Baby erwartet.
